Fortunately for us, there is now a great selection of healthy breakfast cereals on the market to choose from, but I still love to get in the kitchen and prep my own batches of granola when I have time. For me, nothing beats the smell of home baking when you walk into the house and this just makes the whole kitchen smell absolutely incredible. The sweet aromas of the coconut are just heavenly!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Run Reigate 10k and half marathon yesterday! You should all be extremely proud of yourselves, that’s such a fantastic achievement! Matcha coconut energy bites

 This recipe includes two things that we’re absolutely loving in store at the moment.. matcha and coconut! Matcha is an amazing superfood with many nutritional health benefits, but did you know that it doesn’t have to be limited to just making tea with? Matcha is actually an amazing ingredient to include into recipe such as protein bars, cakes, porridge, smoothies and in this case, coconut bites! I know that typically green tea can be associated with having quite an intense flavour, but when used in small quantities, I find the subtle flavours of matcha can actually work really nicely in sweet treats!

I’m sure that you’ve heard by now about the many wonders and uses of coconut oil, but have you heard about coconut oil teeth whitening? We’ve recently been trying out these coconut oil pulling kits from Coco Baci and wanted to share the thoughts of one of our guest bloggers with you. Coconut oil has numerous nutritional health benefits and using it for oil pulling has claimed to improve oral hygiene. These kits offer an all natural teeth whitening course, whereby you use a sachet of the oil mixture daily and swirl the oil around your mouth for 10-15 minutes before brushing.
