Fairtrade Fortnight 2021

For two weeks each year at the end of February and start of March, thousands of individuals, companies and groups across the UK come together to share the stories of the people who grow our food and drinks, mine our gold and who grow the cotton in our clothes, people who are often exploited and underpaid – Fairtrade.org.uk
Here at Inside Out Health, we like to talk about health, and as a team of nutritional therapists we know health is a journey from what you put in your body to the benefits you can then feel from eating healthy food. The source of food, being natural and preferably organic are important to ensure we get all the health benefits from the food.
Fairtrade looks at the source of the product, how the growers are treated and ensuring they get a fair payment for the products. So when I sell fairtrade products or buy them myself , I can feel assured that I am supporting those producers.
Living in Reigate, it feels good to have a connection with the wider world and those working in it and showing support for them in a simple way by buying Fairtrade.
