Cosy cups of creamy hot chocolate are enjoyable all year round!! This scrumptious #vegan mix is soooo simple and has just three ingredients! this is adapted from a recipe by our very own registered Nutritional Therapist Abbie. Enjoy 🤗
You will need:
1 cup of your favourite plant milk
1 heaped teaspoon raw cacao powder
1 level teaspoon of sweetener of choice
Warm a splash of your favourite plant milk in a pan.
Once hot (but not boiling) stir in a heaped teaspoon of raw cacao.
Add your sweetener (I use a level teaspoon of coconut sugar but a syrup or honey would be good too).
Dissolve the cacao and sweetener stirring constantly to form a thick gloopy paste.
Slowly add the rest of your milk, stirring constantly and warm through for a few minutes. If you have a hand blender USE IT! It will take it to a whole new level of creaminess!!
Serve and enjoy!
This makes one (generously indulgent) portion….amend quantities to suit more portions!
