What incredible weather we are having (provided you like the heat)! There are a number of important things to remember when the weather is like this:- keeping hydrated and protected from the sun, and also (less important than the first two but certainly relevant in the heat) finding a good natural deodorant.
My favourite is the Ben & Anna range. The base of the deodorant is sodium bicarbonate, and they use essential oils known for their germ-reducing effects. The range is free from aluminium and microplastics and they can be used by men and women. The deodorants come in paper tubes, and also have tin versions which offer a creamier version of their tube deodorants for those who don’t mind getting their fingers stuck in! This is the one I use and so does Robin, we both like it and find it works well. It has been particularly well tested at the moment with the heat…..and has passed!

Anna had long been searching for a suitable deodorant for herself. It needed to be vegan and not tested on animals. She also wanted a deodorant without aluminium and it was impossible for her to find anything that fit the bill. Therefore, they (Ben & Anna) took matters into their own hands and decided to develop their own deodorant which is based solely on all natural ingredients.
They started experimenting with Soda Bicarbonate and valuable essential oils. After several attempts, and a lot of time and tinkering they were ready to launch the new deodorant.

Pink Grapefruit: A slice of heaven with a sparkling smell that makes you feel good, the grapefruit extract unfolds as the deodorant is applied to the skin. Anna has a particular affinity for this amazing fragrance combination and will be quick to tell you that this is a must have for your next holiday trip.
Vanilla Orchid: Flowery-sweet vanilla awakens the senses and the relaxing and beneficial properties of marigold with its naturally soothing effect makes this fragrance particularly well suited for sensitive skin.
Urban Black: A modern fragrance with an even more modern look: smells of slightly sweet cedarwood, conifers and fresh wild herbs – grounding and yet refreshing, like a morning walk in the forest.
All Ben & Anna products use ingredients of natural origin only. All ingredients are vegan and microplastic-free. None of their products have ever been tested on animals. Their packaging material is always chosen wisely in order to have the lowest impact on our environment as possible.
