In the month often associated with love we are particularly thinking about loving our skin.
My favourite supplement for all things skin is a fish oil, providing moisture from the inside out, and anti-inflammatory action – two essentials for skin health. Probiotics can also provide internal support for skin issues.
Topically, great products such as the Oil Day Long, Cream Come True and Purifying Gel from the award winning Skin:Genius range can really help. We are very pleased to have Julia, founder of Skin:Genius with us on Saturday 14th February to offer her personal advice for skin issues you may have.
Alongside supplements and topical care, the basis of good skin health starts from the inside out….you are what you eat after all. Try the delicious recipe further down this newsletter for a boost of skin-loving nutrients.

Method
- Place all ingredients except for the cacao nibs into a blender and whizz together until smooth.
- Add the cacao nibs and blitz for another couple of minutes to add a ‘chocolate chip’ flavour sensation.
- Otherwise, blend for longer if you’d prefer a smoother, well-combined consistency.
- If you find this smoothie mixture is too thick for your liking, add an extra 6-8oz of water.
